Our rooms
Our nursery is split into four different rooms, fully equipped to suit ages from 6 months - 5 years old.
Each child will have a key person, who plays a crucial role in monitoring, recording, and extending the unique child’s development. Although the rooms are organised by age, movement throughout the Nursery is focused on the individual child’s needs.

Crèche – 9 children at any one time and are aged between 6 months and 14 months. The staff-to-child ratio is 1:3.
Tiny Tots – 21 children at any one time and are aged between 14 months and 2.5 years. The staff-to-child ratio is 1:3.
Rainbows – 24 children at any one time and are aged between 2.5 years to 3.5 years. The staff-to-child ratio is 1:4.
Pre-school - 28 children at any one time and are aged between 3.5 years and 5 years. The staff-to-child ratio is 1:8.
Crèche
For babies aged 6 -14 months, our creche provides a caring and loving environment that is comfortable and engaging. Qualified staff members demonstrate both good knowledge and experience, which enables them to provide a high standard of individual care. Stimulating activities, games, and toys are readily available to help children develop and discover. We offer a separate cot room for the children to have a quiet and calming atmosphere.
Tiny Tots
The Tiny Tots room is for children aged 14 months - 2.5 years. Tiny Tots have three rooms joined together with plenty of space to explore and learn, whilst also having space to sleep. Tiny Tots is a perfect room for bridging the gap between the creche and the main nursery. The primary emphasis for this group is on learning through play. Motivated staff ensure that there are varied and engaging play experiences that will interest all. Small circle time encourages communication, confidence and allow feelings to be explored. The rooms are split into a craft, play, and sleep room.
Rainbows
Our large Rainbows room, for children aged 2.5 - 3+ years, helps children move forward socially and emotionally. Children are free to play and explore and have a choice of many different activities that are provided at various times. Quiet areas allow for the exploration of books and sleep if needed. Children develop self-esteem and confidence, enabling them to communicate ideas within our child/adult-led curriculum.
Pre-school
The pre-school is for children aged 3-5 years old. In this group's preparation for school, children are encouraged to achieve goals as they play and learn. Children contribute ideas to our weekly planning and so develop further their personal, social, and emotional skills. Communication and literacy are developed by stimulating children's interests in books and phonics. Other areas of development are strengthened in preparation for the transition to school in this positive environment. Weekly Forest School sessions are offered to small groups of children on rotation.
